Terms & Conditions

For each flight, we strictly adhere to the Civil Aviation Authorities drone regulations. To comply with these laws, we abide by company terms and conditions to make sure the safety of our clients and the public are always prioritised.

Preparation

Planning and preparation are key elements to the safety of the operation. Launch Imagery require that all the project information and airspace checks are completed prior to commencement.

Airspace Limitations

Launch Imagery is limited to the CAA’s Rules and Regulations like any other drone operator. Should a clients project fall into restricted airspace, further approvals will need to be requested. The CAA require at least 28 days notice for airspace requests. Launch Imagery is therefore not liable should a request be made within this timeframe.
(We will do our best though!)

Restrictions

Under the CAA Rules and Regulations, we will not fly above 400ft from the ground, fly out of ‘line of sight’ from the drone or intentionally endanger any person or property with the aircraft.

Media Rights

All content created for the client is for the soul use by the client and uninvolved third parties. Launch Imagery has the right to use any media created for stock, promotional or marketing purposes. Should the client not agree to this, we must receive this in writing prior to the project start date.

Weather

Drone operations can be greatly affected by weather. Launch Imagery has no control over any changes to the weather and as such, we recommend that clients choose two dates for their project just incase weather becomes a restricting factor.

Final Decision

The final decision on the go-ahead for the flight is ultimately down to the operating pilot. If it is deemed that the flight cannot be operated in a safe manner and will potentially cause injury to people or property, or if the clients requests are outside Launch Imagery’s terms and conditions, the flight will be cancelled. We will endeavour to work with you to help achieve your goals in a safe manner.

Flight Planning

Launch Imagery will require a latitude and Longitude of the site location in order to begin planning. An initial planning risk assessment will be carried out and any additional site information will be gathered at this stage.

Quotes

All quotes are based on the information provided by the client being accurate and correct. Should any of the information provided be inaccurate, Launch Imagery has the right at any stage to renegotiate any agreement or contract signed. Travel is charged separately at 45 pence per mile from Oxford.
